Trash/Recycling Collection

Our HOA contract with Papillion Sanitation is for three bins.  The three bins can be any combination of trash and recycling bins, and will still be under the HOA contract.  Pickup of trash bin(s) are each week, and recycling bin(s) are picked up every other week.  (See the schedule below.)

If more bins are required, the homeowner would need to contact Papillion Sanitation directly.  (Additional bins would be under a separate contract between the homeowner and Papillion Sanitation.)

So contact Papillion Sanitation (402-346-7800) if you would like to change the combination of trash and recycling bins and/or need to add additional bins.

Mail Thefts

Given that mail theft continues to be a recurring problem in our neighborhood and may occur in the future, the following information will remain posted for your reference.

As an HOA Board, we are here to inform our neighborhood of this issue and what neighbors are able to do about it.  Due to the nature of this situation, the HOA Board is not responsible for outcomes related to mail and package theft.  The sole responsibility of resolution is between homeowners, the USPS, and the County Sheriff.  

Take Action – Who to Contact:

  • If you have been impacted by this, please report theft to the Post Office Federal Inspector at 877.876.2455 immediately.
  • If you have had credit cards, debit cards, or check information stolen, please file a Sheriff’s report with appropriate details as well.  
  • Sheriff Barry Paschall/1057 Investigations Division is handling these claims.  His number is 402.593.2304.
  • If you would like to know what mail you have coming and are afraid you’re missing some, please sign-up for a daily email of what you should expect to see in your mailbox. Enroll by clicking https://www.usps.com/manage/informed-delivery.htm.
  • If you as a homeowner determine you would like a locked mailbox option, you will need to work with the USPS directly to do so.
